    I don't remember much about it, but you were a futuristic character that
    was moving along rolling sidewalks, kicking stuff...

    Anyone know the name of this c64 game?

    If it was horizontally scrolling with checkerboard backgrounds, it's probably METROCROSS - based on the arcade game. Released in the US by Epyx and elsewhere by US Gold.

    I am going through all the game screenshots in alphabetical order on
    lemon64 right now, so with a bit of luck I'll find it.
