Hector!
it is still poping up and I have to close many windows as a result of
the popups. I think you will need to recompile wcDNS.dll. I removed
wcdns and my e-mail was rejected by the server, so I downloaded it from
the AUP and it is doing the same thing.

Why don't you capture some WCSMTPTRACE or WCSAP logs to find out who
were the last sessions that is causing this. It has to be a certain DOMAIN.
Having the assertion is not the main problem because EVERYONE has
WCDNS.DLL for the past 2 years and we never got this reported even
though the assertions were in there. You are the first.
So you are getting something that is making it POP up and I want to
know why it pops up.
All I did before was tell you WHY it was popping up and even though
it was not suppose to be there, it doesn't MEAN it didn't do its job
if was a DEBUGGING project where we had a TEST case that would cause
it to occur.
So I need to see some data before releasing a new one.

Hector, I get this when wcSMTP looks like it trying to connect to one of
the spam filter servers.

Louis, Hector, I have been getting this same error as well under Windows 2000 Professional. I thought maybe it was something on my system but
after reading this original post I am glad to know that I am not the
only one having this problem.

Hi Bobby,
the assertion problem has gone away for some reason. I have not seen it sense friday. I am not sure as to why it went a way.

Louis, it has actually gone away on me, too, since I have started
running wcSMTP on my WinME machine.
I am running winXP professional and I did not change the OS...I think we were getting hit wit some kind of virus. When it was happeness wcSmtp
would drop out.

Ah ok. Yeah I am still having problems where the computer that is
running wcOnline crashes during a character-based telnet session. This happens under Windows 2000 and WinME as well as Windows 2003. I am
having trouble trying to figure out how to fix this if this is indeed
and RPC issue. I've never had this issue before with WINServer running under the same OSes in the past.
